Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, also known as BJJ, is a Martial Art similar to Judo and Wrestling. In contrast to Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Hap Ki Do, and other related forms, BJJ does not involve striking. BJJ is focused on Takedowns and Submissions using Leverage and Timing over Strength and Force. Sparring or practicing in BJJ is known as "Rolling." BJJ Training with a Qualified Instructor can help you:
-
Develop Confidence
-
Increase Core Strength
-
Lose Weight
-
Create Friendships
-
Enhance Coordination
Ronin Jiu Jitsu operates with the understanding that students need to be able to wake up the next morning and go to work to earn a living, so Safety during sparring is a critical priority to our Instructors.
